does it matter where the phone came from i mean does the european version has less bugs then the asian version? because the man selling it in the US is importing them from hong kong.
and does the color matter? i mean the white one is newer then the black and red so it should come with less bugs right? |

depends on the firmware mostly. If there were build quality issues in early w910's then this should be addressed with later releases.

so i can rest assured that if i drop 370$ for this phone that any bug and problem it has will be or can be fixed with firmware? i mean its almost an year since it was released i would hope everything is fixed now... it even won the 2008 global mobile award thing... |

I can't give you any assurances, but all I can say is my own W910 doesn't have any serious bugs.
Two bugs I had after a faulty debrand seem to be gone now that I've fully debranded (Custom AU Red R1FA035). The media menu is also faster.
My phone has never restarted of it's own accord. It has never crashed. It actually is very reliable.

does anyone experience this problem?
when using MPS - 70 (portable speakers), i can not change the volume. it stays at one level (which is kind of loud).
its funny coz i tried using the headphones, i can adjust volume perfectly.
thanks people!

When do you expect the next firmware release?
I am totally satisfied with my W910i, the restarting issue has disappeared by itself (no reflashing, this phone is magic hehehe). Now the only minor problem is that it's a little slow when phone is in Media mode.
I hope the next release will feature image rotating effects like the iPhones do.

I'd like to have one question about this product.
Does it have a stable and reliable firmware after upgrading it to the newest one? |

well i just got my w910i white from this hong kong vendor on ebay and its pretty good.
i wouldnt recommend white to anyone else though... its kind of hard to see the keypad...
anyways it has lots of chinese games on it and stuff that cost money to play?! and some chinese applications?
is there a way to get some american applications that i can actually read? do i just get an firmware from the UK or AU or something? |

Yes it is rather stable. When I first got my phone it was restarting 5-6 a day, but now it is ok. I think it depends on how much you use the phone.
Well, of course at that time I was using it 24hrs a day hehehe
Buy this phone!

try debranding it to AU or UK software depending on where u are obviously. umm the games should be erased however i think certain phones carry games dedicated for that area (just a guess since my AU w910i came with 3 games u can not delete) but if the Chinese games are due to supplier firmware then a debranding will do the trick |

yes, you will. that's why you have to select the correct files when you're going to debrand it
