Anyone else having issues with their "8" and "#"-keys not working all the time ? (which is extremely frustrating). Maybe I should send back to service for a 2nd time... I am using the latest FW R1FA035 |

Try master reset before sending phone to service... It may help you if the problem is software related.

For those experiencing problems, it is always advisable to run SEUS and reinstall the firmware again. |

Do a master reset too... Or just go to your nearest service probider shop and ask them to solve the problem if the phone is still under warranty. Such problem may be caused by the SIM card, credit, expired sim or credit... No one knows, you better ask your operator first before trying to mess with the firmware.

hey striz. credit is not an issue as im on a plan/cap where theres no limit to how much u spend. nd i already did a seus nd the problem seems fixed as of now. not sure how long it'll last though. nd if i debranded by phone via da vinci do i need to rebrand it before i take it to my service provider?
thx mate |

Yeah you'll need to rebrand it if you want it repaired on your warranty, because debranding voids your warranty, so you need to make it look like it never happened!

Correct... Rebranding should be done if you want to make sure they won't notice that your phone has been touched in firmware. In fact, you can search totalgsm's options to see if they offer rebranding for your phone.

hello guys,
i was wondering since ive read the last 20 pages of this topic and i was wondering is the w910i finally usable now? with the new firmware? does it still have bad reception and dropped calls?
i found this dealer who is selling one for like 370$... so i really like the phone i was wondering if it was safe to get one now since its from asia and i dont get a US warranty... but he did say that if something is wrong he would send it to the sony centre in California or something and i read some people sent theirs in and it works fine now?
i just wanted to make sure... because if its still messed up i might just get a Razr V8... for 330$... since it seems to have less problems... but the w910i looks really nice. |
