i just joined dis forum nd i read sum posts ........ppl out here r quite impressive nd r alwayz 2 help
so i hav a problem i hav a k550i....wid a SPOILT M2 memory stick (1gb)...didnt buy it wid bill so no warranty oops[:D]
wen i insert it in d fone ....it sayz wld u lyk 2 format it i say yes it does format it bt aftr it ......it doesnt detect my stick says no memoery stick
wen i sync my fone wid stick in it wid pc d pc detects it as a hard drive...wen i klik it it sayz d same thing wld u lyk 2 format it???? on cliking yes nthing happens>>>>>in d properties of d memory stick it says file system RAW(memory sticks usually hav FAT)>>>>>>used sapce nothing and total space nothing..........nw did is 1 stubborn memory stick
so plz help awaiting replies

okay heres the problem when i insert the memory stick in my mobile........................it says would you like to format the memory stick?i say yes.It formats it but after formatting it, the mobile doesnt recognize the memory stick at all.When i connect mp mobile phone to the pc,my memory stick is recognized as a hard drve like any other memory stick.The properties are as follows:
File system:RAW
Free space and total space:0
When i double-click, it asks me wheater i want to format the memory stick.On clicking yes, nothing happens

I guess the problem is on your M2. Too bad that u bought a non-warranty one.
I once experienced the similar problem with 2GB MSD Pro. I returned the card and it replaced with a new one since it still in warranty period.

He has a K550 so MicroSD won't help the problem.

I think the problem is that when you formated the card all files in card are deleted inclooding 2 apalicitions which are neded to card work corectly. My friend did the same with PictureXD card.
You can fix it by buying a new one like the first, open it whit your PC and copy all folders and apalicitions in PC and then copy files in the brouken card.

just try putting the old one up on eBay and that's about the only place where you can sell it in that condition. Go to best buy and ask them maybe. We know more, but sometimes there's that just right nerd who knows exactly what the problem is. Make sure the settings are right on your phone as well. Does it have this problem with any other memory cards or just this one? |
