I have been so unlucky to drop my k850i on the floor.. It have one visible mark on the "battery door". (could not find any words) And some smaller scratches on the glossy back. :S

I want to send it back for a replacement cause of a large spec of dust between the camera cover and the glass. And a loose "battery door". You think I will get it replaced?

for the dust and loose battery door you should get it replaced but if you want to get it replaced by your misfortune of dropping it and problems caused as a result then that would be dishonest and you shouldnt ask for a replacement under such circumastances.

@indup
Yes, I understand that much. But the above mentioned problems are not caused of the drop.

@ Jojo

Yes, I will. But what is really an acceptable alibi? It is not that easy to prove the truth..

But I will cross my fingers and hope they will listen and replace it, cause I really want one of these with no hardware issues.

Is there anybody that can confirm that the "dust problem" is fixed from the 850's delivered from week 44 and till now?

EDIT: Wrong Spelling!

But they at the shop will of course say that they never have seen a problem like that and say that it have to be a problem caused by me. etc

But now it is time for me, to go to bed.

The battery cover is actually not so bad, you have to study the back of the phone for a long time to see it. But the dust should be enough for them to give me a replacement.

But is this actually better on newer handsets? Or will I get a replacement with the same issue?
