tonyitalian,
V1.5?
Check release notes, I dont see anything about using smartphones with it...
Use 3.1 Darwin.
Because the platform sends bogus messages while charging, that is why!!!..But why this change of heart?..We sense a charger connected, oops, we will not shut down after all!!!..*********************** UI BASIC, HOLD YOUR HORSES

If you haven't installed the pc suite then your computer won't know what to do with your phone when you connect it.
You can download the suite here:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/c[....]twaredownloads/p1i?cc=gb&lc=en
Make sure that not even the usb cale it attached to your pc when you install it btw as this can cause problems...
once installed, SEUS etc. should work

i have done this! but when seus asks me to press "C"and plug the usb in, the screen just stays there forever. it does not move on and does not tell me to release the "c" button either.

same problem here...
when seus asks to connect the USB cable while holding "C", the keypad of the phone flashes for a couple of times (on and off) and then it stays on. Backlight of the screen is also on. The phone is then only usable by removing the USB cable and pulling out the battery.
Reinstalled Phone Suite, used different computers, did a master reset, nothing works! |

sorry bit off topic,
hi gaming_guy,
did u ever use XS++ 3.1 to change your W960 CDA? is it safe?
my last W960 was problematic, the touchscreen is way off from being accurate, just afraid if it was caused by a corrupted flashing, though SEUS updated successfully |

@sluuz
I think he/she means try getting the latest version of xs++, out of curiosity-can you use the pc suite to synch?
@jakontil
have you tried running the setup wizard?-it has a section to calibrate the touchscreen which doesn't appear on firstboot. Control Panel - Other.

i dont know why my avatar is a w960i, but i have a k810 and k800 so cant tell you about that.
however if you follow the instructions correctly and back up your gdfs before you start, you should be fine
K700i > K750i > K810i (current phone)
