HI guys & Girls,

If you got the time, could you visit http://www.az-digital.com
They sell mobie phones reasonably cheap, but I want to know if it looks legit before I hand over the cash!

I cant really tell- if they're fraud, they've done quite a good job making it look legit.

Thanx!

legit or not, they have absolutely no idea of what they're talking about.

they say they sell the z700. crazy!

they say t300 and t200 are "soon to come" and they actually sell the t600. weird.

and what's the sense in showing their dimensions (phones' dimensions). if you show the dimensions, show f*cking everything or at least something more like weight or whatever!. if not, don't show!

i don't really know what's "legit" but they definetly don't look any professional. i wouldn't put any euro cent there.

doesn't look very professional - bad quality pic on home-page - no prices listed & this worried me 'The minimum order amount is for 400 USD' hmmmmmmm - they may be a new company - e-mail them & see - but there is no secure online ordering system (u have to send e-mail - not that safe) yet they claim to be verisign approved but at no point on the website does the URL change to shttp - for secure encryption. Decide for yourself. [addsig]

***ITS A FRAUD***

Do NOT buy from there, its a complete fraud.

There is a VeriSign logo on there - that is usually only given to websites proven to be secure. Usually if you click on that logo it takes you to a page that says the site is secure.

If you click on that logo, it just takes you to the homepage. VeriSign have no record of this number.

It looks to be the same with the TrustE sign but I'm not as knowledgable about that so I can't be certain.

I checked the domain name and its registered to:

AZ Digital S.A.L (KECEITUGVD)
Hamra Square Building Floor 6
Beirut
LB

who can be reached on okasice@yahoo.com.

So if we take all the evidence:

(a) Poorly designed site for an E-Tailor;
(b) Fake VeriSign link;
(c) Probably fake TrustE link;
(d) No mention of where the company is;
(e) No secure form and
(f) The fact it is registered to Beirut;

It all adds up, in my mind at least, to internet fraud.
Don't buy from there.

@hurny

You could always log onto Verisign and TRUSTe and tell them that their logos are being used fraudulently - it'd be funny to see how long the site would last in its current condition with those two giants breathing down their neck about court cases etc.

No problemo,

Last time i did this, a guy on the other side of this country was trying to sell brand new 8310's for 155 US, claiming he was an ebay member with 3000+ positive feedbacks to his name, but was trying to save money on ebay charges by selling the phones outside of ebay.

I emailed the ebay ID, and they knew nothing about it. They got the cops involved etc.. and I found out later that he had ripped off a police officer and actually got his money off him, but no product, so they caught him and he was charged with fraud (3-6 months in the slammer, and $5000 fine).

MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA
