From the number of posts and threads about K850i, it is obvious that some people are not satisfied by it and also that the phone has some software and hardware issues.
But among those comments, it is hard to find out those who are actually satisfied with their phones.
That is why I think it would be a good idea if people who actually like their new K850i's would post their POSITIVE comments about the K850i, so that those of us who are considering to buy will hear & read some positive opinions as well...

I think that is a great idea...
On here there seems to be a lot of bad mouthing of the K850i...
In all cases there will be people who have good and bad experiences.
I for one have changed my phone 5 times due to hardware issues...
On the 5th now... and I would defo say with the firmware... I will be a lot more happier.... there are no complaints from me... Overall I am happy with the handset... I just love the battery life and the fast internet... its amazing...
Cheers
ENJOY
P.S. Hope to hear more good points... Anyone who has anything negative to say... Please stay out of here.
Thanks

Nice thread at last.
I've had 2 occasions where I have had the flash problem and I make a point of taking darkness pics to see if I can catch it out again but I can't
I love the design. Its a looks great when its nice and shiny. Works great as a modem and the A2DP works flawlessly, the sound quality with my BT30Q headphones works great (192BR).
I've also noticed that if your headphones accidently become detached when you're listening to the radio the phone waits a few seconds before it switches the radio off, giving you a chance to plug it back in again. Nice little touch.
Synching worked fine and the phone feels very solid up to now, fingers crossed.
Photographs come out fine and I love the new camera menu, very intuitive, although not really had a chance to put it through its paces (poor weather).
The phone still has the original FW, no doubt an upgrade will sort out any issues waiting to happen.
Overall, I'm well impressed.
I've experienced about 2 of the bugs listed in the K850 fw overview thread, no big deal to me though. I've had not one crash.

within all the bad things the k850 has, someone found its beauty. plankgatan has benefit from it(taking good pics). it seems most of the units are faulty.

Yes this a very good idea. Many were so hungry to critisize SE due to some minor problems. Sometimes it feels, some anti esations are working very hard to make SE look worse. Infact many ppl complain without owning one just to join the wagon.

yes, the amount of posters here just logging on to slam (all) SE efforts is just beyond me. I mean, why bother?

As a first note let me just say:
"There are no perfect phones"
So, based on that, i'm absolutely loving my K850i.
Of course there are some small glitches, like a slow response for keypad unlocking, etc...
But overall this is a wonderful piece of technology.
The thing i like the most is the accelerometer (have you checked the accelerometer test in the service menu?).
It opens a whole new world of possibilities for improved interface/control. |

Finally, some peace.
I'm overall quite happy with my k850i. (:
Super fast in taking photos.
Keypad is quite easy to use. (Though many complained about it)
softkeys are quite sensitive.
And the speakers are really good.
Clear and not much unwanted noise. (My w800i however, is the opposite)
But there's still little bugs like problem with using bestpic feature, restarting itself etc. |

he he....ok how many people have k850 in the world ???
500000 ?......5000000 ? (i dont know, but i know its quite many people)
when i spook with technical support in Linköping (OBS...with my friend, not just some guy who tell that everything is allright)....
he told me that mostly they get calls about the flash, (some people have this bugg who make the pics dark), i asked him if their was many people who complain about k850, and he told me it wasnt.....
he also told me there isnt some major problems with the chassis, screen, dust, etc, etc........and yes, i know he dosent lie for me..........
maybe(just maybe), have some k850 from some specific factory, problems with the quality controll, (thats my guess)....

Great idea, had my K850i a few days now, no bugs that i can discern, pics do tend to suffer from CA but only in situations where most products would produce it (tree branches etc).
Otherwise pics are crisp with great detail, love the 3 TS buttons and slick lens cover.
K850i is a phone that kinda grows on you the more you use it.

lets see .... satisfied, hhhm not really. yes it's better in some respects to
the k810i I had, but firmware faults have made what should have been a
pleasant move into a pain. The battery life is not as good as the k810
but I'm being picky there given it's extra umts
I do like the touch screen, but other parts of the keypad design are
less than ideal - a k810 keypad on the k850 - now that would be spot
on !!!
On the whole - I'm still undecided - maybe a debrand reflash to a bug
reduce version may convince me, but at the moment - no, not what I
have come to expect from SE.
I reject your reality and substitute my own. |

there you fairly wrong...i charge nearly the same periods with my k850 like my k810...(its maxium ~1h different(maybe less) in talktime between k850 and k810......so the battery life on k850 is realy good, (also remember that k850 have a brighter and bigger screen, turbo 3G, etc.....who eats more power.
