Help with W580i. No Picture |

Hi guys! I have a Sony Ericsson w580i which worked perfectly until yesterday. I was playing tetris and all of a sudden the screen went black. All softkeys and keypads light up but the main LCD Screen doesn't do anything. I tried turning it on and off let it cool down removing the battery etc. and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions or tips I can do to get it back up? Thanks! |

I also tried replacing the screen and checking the connection and it isn't the screen itself. I think there's something else.... plase anyone...I really need advice... |

You should reflash the phone with original software... but im no maestro on that. Ask Tranced or Strizlow800 and im sure youll get results.

Well I tried with the update service but it says it's up to date so it won't let me flash it. How can I flash it and where do I get the files? Thanks! |

As i said before im no maestro, but use the search to narrowe down exactly what you want to find.

does it still function like you can make calls, play sound, etc even if the screen went black? i just flash my w580i then i played with it the whole night then the next morning the screen went off but the phone is still functioning fine :/ im not sure if i should flash it again or buy new lcd. hoping for your feedback so i would know what to do  |
