I am waiting for 3 to start selling the k850i but I was just wondering what peoples experiences were like with 3? Do they have decent coverage? Is the customer service any good? Or is it just a matter of opinion?

I was with 3 for quite a while myself.
Was not too bad coverage, Cheap contract and everything went well with them. Dont have any complaints at all tbh
Only thing that bothered me was the "3" locked phones 
What kinda contract u been looking at with them? |

Been on 3 for 18 months now, not a bad word to say so far.
Was a bit scepticle before I signed up but very impressed. On the video talk and text package. They throw extra's at you and are cheap. What more could you ask for??? |

i use 3 in austria, not bad. i can check for free my emails ( access the 3 zone ) and download all attachments free, ths a good thing. hsdpa is also ok. they have many offers here ( mainly for contracts ), for pre paid not that much. not sure about other countries

Thanks for the responses. I am in the UK and I am not sure of which tariff I will be going for yet, depends on the cost of the phone on each tariff. I don't really want to pay for the phone, which is what Vodafone are trying to make me do for an upgrade. I don't really want to spend more than the £25 a month I am spending at the moment, and I don't really get much for my £25.
What is the branding like on 3 phones?

Didn't find the branding that bad on the two SE I have had with them. The themes were not bad colour wise, 1 was blue/white, the other orange/black. Aside from the few menu restrictions, etc, the only main changes are the "Planet 3" icon in the menu which replaces the internet globe icon in the menu and goes to the 3 web portal.
There is also a link to this portal on the homescreen which replaces the menu option on the standby screen. Also, depending on the model, one of the buttons will be replaced with either a triangle logo or headphone logo which will also take you to the portal or a music portal.
Thats how it was on my K608i and W850i, not sure how it will look though on the K850i or newer phones.
