As long as you want. At least, as long as they fit on a memory stick.

Same answer. It depends on sampling frequency used. The higher the frequency, the lower the space (and viceversa).

Im sure the battery has quite a long usage life, otherwise it wudnt support the movie player, its pointless havin an application the battery cant power.it wub b great though, watchin ur favourite films on a bus,in a car, on a plane, stuck in traffic the list is endless, plus in a car,u can use a car charger.buyin a couple of memory sticks, puttin a movie on each one, then when u get bored, copy different films on 2 them, thats amazin.but how much is a p800 unlocked? I cant wait 2 get one

Th eP800 FAQ says this
Is it possible to view/download video clips
"You can play video content that is stored in your P800 or streamed. You can also play audio-only material which is encapsulated within an MPEG file or streamed. You can download video clips from an Internet site or transfer from a PC via cable, or from a Memory Stick Duo. You can also send these video clips to other phones or PCs via infrared communication, Bluetooth wireless or multimedia messaging.
You do not have to download a complete video clip to be able to view it. You can use the streaming function and view the video clip from the website where it is located. The video clip is played with only a short time delay.
The video player supports files in the MPEG-4 file format, for example name.mp4
You can store video clips both internally and externally. You can also copy them between the internal memory and the Memory Stick Duo. "
