hi there ppl!! iheard 'bout this trick where u can use the MMC for your msg data storage making msg storae virtually unlimited! sum one shed some light here please? Thanx

I'm sorry. I do not know of any such tip. But in case there is one out there. I would love to implement the same. Unilimited phonebook and message memory is much needed in K550i

It was done using FAR manager and configuring the SMS storage control file... It required creating some folders and other stuff, which makes it available only for DB2010 phone for now.. If you have never sony ericsson phone with DB2020 platform it is impossible so far now...

I managed it using FAR Manager on my W800 BUT there is a problem with doing it the way I did in that the more messages you have, the slower the phone gets. The W800 was never the most stable phone anyway so after I had a few more messages than I should have it was painful to use. My advice: get a K850 (or any other se with the new UI, I think W960, W910 and a couple others can do it) and set it to store your messages on the memory card.
