Is there any way at all to transfer pictures taken from MCA-25 to a Palm? I can't find a palm program that would accept a jpeg. |

I was going to ask the same thing.
I've got a T300 and also a Palm (IIIxe) but no IR interface on my PC so I was hoping I could use the Palm as a way to transfer files.
Possible...? |

Probably not.
I've tried swapping JPGs and GIFs between my T68i and my Palm m130, but it never worked.
However, beaming contacts and calender events works perfectly!

Try MG PhotoSuite Mobile Organizer version 2.2 at www.photosuite.com/palm. I got this software when I purchase my palm m515. It is a freeware but I'm not sure now whether it is still for free. |

Once you have the PhotoSuite software, just beam your picture across your Palm. Later use the software to search for it.
However, it usually could not read the format.

Yes you can, cause I do !
Just use McFile, with it you can beam any kind of files and your phone will accept good ones (pic, ring, ...)

@alex
So you've actually viewed T68 images on your palm & vice versa?
@Comte Zero
Sounds like McFiles can store t68 files - but can it view & play them 2?

Does McFile allow you to receive (via IR) *all* T300/T68 files, i.e. images, melodies etc...?
I've managed to to be able to use my Palm to send any compatible file to my T300 via ZboxZ (i.e. gifs, themes, melodies and even the extra games from SE) but I can't transfer things back. |

sorry for delay, I lost the thread
@T68iFan : Mcfile is only a file manager, so you can't play or view them.
@magic man : as you use memory card, Mc file can managed any files type. If you don't have memory card, it manage only palm OS file

Hi, Im new to this forum.
Well, I used McFile in my M100 but had no luck while sending files from hotsync or even my T300 with IR.
When I send to M100 trough T300 while in McFile it says fatal exception then restarts.
When I send to M100 while in AcidImage or Photosuite it says unknown format and nothing happens
Am i doing anything wrong....

I solved the problem of receiving jpegs with a program called jpeglite, which is included in the mail application Snappermail (jpeg lite is free, so you can install the trial snappermail and then leave the viewer) - you will find that snapper mail itself allows you to view all native format (jpeglite for pics and quickoffice premier for office docs).
In short - with an installed jpeglite you can receive jpegs via IR to your palm and view them. To my experience most other viewers require conduits or expansion cards, jpeglite does not.
If anyone knows other programs which allow this, please post. |
