I wanted to buy the panasonic GD87 from my friend and I just didn't.

after 2 days using it, found this phone is a lil over rated.... or maybe I expected too much from it. the color screen is superb, no doubt about that. I don't think theres one can compare to, and taking pic with it is so easy and fun. but other than those, all features are simular with my t68i... or even a lil worse. pic caller id too small, cant even see whos calling. battery last shorter than t68i (more color??) pictures' resolutions taken from gd87 is way too lil. not viewable in PC or printing out. oh yeah, the phone book thing is bad. you gotta enter every entry to the phone from sim, in order to have pic caller id. Man, theres an option called copy all to Phone/Sim in t68i. just a lil click and its done. And the price.... kinda high compare to other cell phone

so, i decided to keep my phone a bit longer and wait for a suitable one comes out....

I understand you point, but at the end of the day the gd87 totally wins out over the t68, 68 is slow, very bad screen, no camera in built in, bad ringtones. Ok gd87, camera is fine for mms, looks great actually, if u want a camera for taking photos and printing out then go buy a digi camera. Caller ID photo is fine, same size as nokias 7650 and i can clearly seen who is calling. Menus are fast, rintones are incredible, battery life does lack a little over t68 but with a camera and 65k screen you would expect that. The phone looks much business like and classy compared to t68. In my opinion if u got the money and can afford to change from t68 to gd87 then i wouldnt blink and eye.

hope so, if GD87 would upgrade the photo size, at least half size of the screen for caller ID, and a lil upgrade of the menu. GD 87 would be the best cell phone ever.....
