I turned off my k850i off this morning because the volume buttons where not working when i was listening to the radio. So i turnedit off and tried to turn it back on again and it wont turn on. It vibrates and the keypad lights come on then a light on the screen then all of it turns off and starts to turn on again but does the same thing. I have plugged it in to the computer and detleted every thing i can but it still wont work.
Does anyone have and advice please

the best way is ask for your warranty
you can always find one if you know where to look

This is a common problem with the first firmware release of this phone - it has happened to me twice. I am about to take my second one back to Carphone Warehouse today for a replacement under the 28 day faulty exchange.

K850 will be a great phone - it's going to take one or two more firmware releases though, before it hits its potential.

The same fault happened to me, The problem is that the boot sector of the phone becomes corrupt which causes the phone not to boot.

There is a firmware due very soon, which should resolve some of the big issues which this one is, But at present its a take back to the shop and get another replacement.

SEUS will currenlty not help you, as there are no firmwares on the page yet to support the phone.

My 2nd phone became the non boot problem today. I get a replacement some time next week i hope. Hoping for new firmware too?

What firmware did the service center put on for you?

I know in the UK our service centers dont currently have R1CA037 which is the current one most phones are now shipping with

If Voda still have there original stock from se then this may be why. I know some phones have now been shipped now with R1CA037. However this is not a major update just a stop gap for a lot of the phones being returned.

My new one next week may still only come with R1CA029 on o2. But i know it will go faulty again if SE doesnt do something very quickly

My phone won't boot now either! Been having the same problems as other people like freezing, volume unresponsiveness and the "operation failed" error with messages.

I updated to the new firmware last week but today when I came back to check my phone after work all the blue lights were on but the phone was practically dead!!

Now when I turn it on it quickly vibrates like normal and then turns the blue lights on indefinitely and the screen never lights up!

Does anyone know how to fix it?
