Well k800i is 3MP, has good quality mp3, and is in 250$ price range.

The K800i is one of the best looking phones ever made...

K800/810 are cheap!!! and good Mediaplayer, just mising the mega bass. but you can create your eq setting to make up with that

You can improve the sound quality on K800 as well with FAR. There are quite a few good sound drivers around that will make the sound just as loud or louder than a Walkman phone.

Really is this true?! Then K810 is the best phone on the market!
I thought you were stuck with the low sound level. What about switching track when the key lock is on, can you just use the "zoom button" ??!

Yep, you can switch with volume keys. Use Peters V1 drivers for sound... my phone blows away a W810
It's a very good multimedia device for it's price... I did a lot of research and this was the best device I could get. I've got mine for 130 euros (on a 6 euro contract for 2 years). It was orange branded, but i've debranded it. It kicks ass with the modified camera and sound drivers I also got a 512 card with it. And I use my sister's HPM-70
For 3.5 euros a month I have free 3G internet. It's very nice with the Opera Mini 4 browser in Landscape mode. Also the multitasking capability is damn handy and nice

Edit: forgot to mention, I have a K800i, not a K810i
