Ive seen quite a few thread/osts about people who cant sleep. Well i have the opposite..i cant stay awake. Im always absolutly nakerd, no matter how much sleep i have. Ive tried different amount of sleep fomr 5-11 hours a night. NOrmaly i go to sleep at 11.30 and get up at 8 (8 and a half hours sleep) which is more sleep then anybody else i know. Why? It can get really annoying and i find it difficult to concentrate and such..

Get to the doctors and get a blood test to make sure that you're not anemic or diabetic which is unlikely, truth be told. But you'll put your mind at rest by doing so anyway.
How old are you? 18 or so? I think I spent 2/3 of my time asleep at that age anyway

I seem to feel tired quite a lot of the time, and I'm 29 and not anaemic as had blood tests!
I suspect my diet's at fault, a poor diet can make you tired too.

Well, if your parents are doctors then you have nothing to worry about, surely?
Maybe not 16 hours but yes, I would sleep at least 8 hours per night and often have a three or four hour nap during the day when studies allowed

I was going to have a cup of coffee from the vendin machine, and i cant remember why I didnt..lol.
Also my health and diet might be something to do with it? I am extremly light (like 7 stone) but i do eat loads and bad food (burgers, cips etc..) but i do eat fruit and drink milk lol. Ill try having some coffee tomorrow and see if it helps. But seriously when i come home from school I just relax on my buddah bag and spend like 5 hours infront of the tv/computer. I was especially tired today which didnt help my drum lesosn or my driving lesson! I 10 times.

se_p800, I sometimes get like that. I find a quick nap (couple of hours) helps. Think they call it a power nap. In fact I remember reading ages ago that some businesses are letting their staff have power naps as it increases brain activity and resulting in more productivity.

my understanding of a power np is 20 mins or so, as it has a lot to do with the stages of sleep!
