Apart from dust under the lens cover and software issues... I just noticed that my screen is loose at the top left corner.

The phones always creaked (put it down to cheaper build quality than the K800), and on closer inspection the top edge is slightly lifted and is easy to push down (causing the creak).

I hope the new one I am getting today from CPW will be better build than this.

Yes, replace it asap. There's something terribly wrong.

I have the same problem as you, no dust beneath the lenscover tho, but my button "6" haven't got the same feeling as the other buttons. Should it be that way?

I had this same issue with my first K850 from CPW, so I had it replaced and my second doesn't suffer from it. However, the back is a bit lose now. Should I go for a third?! [addsig]

i just posted a topic to try and find out how to dissassemble the k850i as my keypad is slightly (1-2 pixels) askew and want to realign it...otherwise my handset is fine.....anyone know of any forums or anyone who has attempted this yet?

cos the o2 shop told me that i would not be allowed another (i.e. 4th) box to box swap.

The first one had a bad speaker, the 2nd a duff D pad, and the third has the marginally annoying kepad alignment thing. besides, as all is well regarding hardware faults etc i couldnt be bothered with the hassle of changing again and risk getting another dodgy one. i am content to wait for both the firmware upgrade and a quide on how to get the keypad out so i can reset it.

just noticed i have the R1CA037 and the plastic earpiece cover thingy is slightly raised in the center and can be pushed down to the same level as the screen if you press on it......it doesnt seem to creak really, is this what you had sebby and you think I should get it replaced or not? :S

AL3X... my 3rd has R037 and suffers the same speaker cover problem.

Build quality on these things is abysmal. K850 number 2 was built the best but was a software bug fest.
