when i want to view the pics on my phone and select one there seems to be a line that works from top to bottom of the screen once the image has come up. It seems to sharpen the pic but i dont understand why it happens in the first place.

It does it on every pic when you scroll through. Its almost like it struggles to handle the resolution of the pic or something and has to take time to compose it.

Its really anoying!

any ideas?

I assumed it was to speed it up, so its not loading up full res pics as you flick through, then it will show it in full def when you stop on one. then again maybe not????

I think its just so you can scroll through the photos quicker, it would take a lot more memory (therefore time) to display the full quality of the photos instantly. My thoughts anyway

i just think its a pain. When i want to show someone a pick you have to wait several seconds for it to appear clear.

and you have to do this with every pic!

my k810i and k800 both do it....it appears fuzzy and bad quality then increases after a few seconds. AFAIK it does it to be quicker while scrolling through

it's working as designed - it does the same on the cybershot digital cameras too, but without the line passing through the image.

why render the image in high quality if your just skipping through them?

yeah W910 does that as well..

i guess it makes sense about how it uses less memory to load up a picture.
K850i after all does have a 2.2" screen, so probably the bigger the screen, the longer it takes to load?
