Thx beta for the reply, you are right though i fully understand the concept of what you are describing. Before my p1i pruchase i was thinking about purchasing a P990 to last me until the new Px was to be announced/released. Instead i took a dive and purchased the p1i. Dont get me wrong i am fairly happy with my product but to be honest i would rather have shelled out an extra $100CAN and waited for the Px. The p1i is a great little "smartphone" just wish it was supplied with more features as in "5mp camera//VGA screen//Built in GPS". I might be getting a little bit off topic here but i have a fairly important question i would like to ask some of the more sophisticated users. I heard their is a new UIQ platform being released? UIQ 4 to be exact, now i was wondering if this new platform could possibly run on my p1i? Just wanted to clear up some confusion i have been having related to UIQ. |

Just for anyone else who's doubting PeterKay in this - when I pulled my rusty nail gag (see the other thread in Garbage if it's still there) I initially fooled PK into thinking I had a test unit as well. I really should have kept the pretence up, because his PM to me at that moment made it absolutely obvious to me that he DID have the P5i in his hands, and was quite keen to talk to another tester about it! I won't reveal exactly what he said, but I was kind of sorry to have to admit I was having him on...
Hope that doesn't embarrass you PK, just wanted to back you up!
