As sad as it is, i'm 19 and have never worked, however that needs to change and I need to start handing out a CV tomorrow.

Problem is, i've never wrote one and having never worked my experience is...well non existant.

What kind of things should go in to the CV?

I finished high school
done 3 years of 6th form - IMedia, ICT Double someting, Ipro (4 B's)
1yr of college - Part of Ipro and got a B

I'm still in college doing Cisco CCNA1 (think it's called that)

Question is, do I put what i've done exactly? or just what courses, and do I bother putting grades?
I can't prove any of my grades as my high school still has them all and has told me they havn't got all of the certificates untill dec time.

My experience is with computers, so i'll put that.....but my hobbies are, well lame...I do nothing
Don't like sport etc, i pretty much just run a forum, game and do general things with mates.....which won't look too good on a CV i think.

I was also thinking about *exagerating* a bit, i worked in this pub for 1 night....which closed last month....which means I can't get a reference from there if they asked, so was thinking about saying I collected glasses there for 6 months which gave me interaction with customers etc.....how will they know, it's now closed

So was thinking about including;

What education i've got

That 1 place I work (unless i include a paper round too from about 5 years back lol)

Apart from that i'm not sure what to put and just seems a bit empty, any advice?

Btw this isn't for anything important at the moment, I just want some money on the side so it's just to look good for places like tesco and asda etc...will be sending a CV, application form and a small letter.

Thanks

ahh CVs....

only ever one page if you can do it (which should be possible, you've never worked!)

I'll upload mine so you can have a lookey...

not that mine is any good but you might get an idea!

Fatreg I like the Achievements bit, will put that I run a website with over 10k members and exagerate about how I offer technical support to them through email lol.

Should I put that i'm a good liar

Thanks alot m8 I got a good idea of what to put now.....somehow I can't see that asda cares in the slightest that i'm doing a Cisco Networking course, as long as I can lift a can to a shelf why do they give a f*ck.

Cheers babe
