K850i 'always on' internet |

I've recently got the K850i and the internet settings are always switched on - being on o2 i phoned them and they tried to tell he how to switch it off but it didnt work and as they charge through the roof for dowloads can anyone help switch it off.
Any help - much appreciated |

The K850i will only connect to the internet when needed. Are you getting the little globe symbol showing all the time?

Nope but when i goto my data counters its saying there's huge amounts downloaded. o2 noticed this also but told me not to worry (as they previously charged me £15 i'd rather switch the gprs off so as not to get another bill shock!!) |

Delete the data accounts. It wont be able to connect then.

if you mean that you see Globe always on then let me tell you that you have allowed Push Email Access which instantly informs you as new message arrives. If you go to settings and switch it off then the problem will be solved. |
