My quick review of k850i. |

Well I have been debating over this or the w910i, and took the plunge for the k850i. So here goes.
To start, the keypad is very easy to get used to. I can use the phone with little thought after about an hour of having it. It is very easy to use and I really recommend using one in a shop (NOT a display model, a real one).
The camera. Very good, the flash is good just keep your fingers away from the light sensor or you ruin the picture. The quality is very good (as you'd expect), sometimes you do need to turn the flash off to get better indoor photos as "auto" isn't always perfect.
Feel. Very nice. This is the next phone after my k610i so I was used to the size already. Weight is 120g or something around there which isn't bad (for me). Feels fine in the hand for me, but you might not like it.
The features are good. Media player is very nice and you can now minimize bluetooth transfers which is handy. It also has mega bass and TrackID which is awesome.
I say if you are considering it, try it and buy it!
My phone is an 02 pay monthly phone. (unlocked - woot!)
Hope I help some people with this. |

Nice, small review
Yes, one of the cool things with A200 is that you can minimize and reopen Bluetooth transfers

Yeah its pretty neat, I'm glad they followed nokia with this. Is anyone elses k850i pay monthly unlocked?
Video recording is superb in my opinion. I'm verry impressed by how fluid it is.

actually this isn't an a200 thing. K800 on r1kg can do this also. But yes, it's very freakin' brilliant!!

Had mine a couple of weeks and it's grown on me a lot. Sure the software is a bit slow compared to w880 etc and has a few bugs but the camera is awesome and just love the looks. |

I seriously have my reservations about this new handset. Having waited MONTHS to upgrade from the k800i, I really don't think it's a step up the SE ladder. Most people will be purchasing this for the quality of the photos. Yes, the GUI is neat if slower than the k800i, and yes the media player and soft touch keys shiny and new. However, bottom line is that the picture quality is POOR. Even keeping your fingers behind the light sensor, auto flash photos come out dark and in my opinion the grainy images are definitely not an improvement on the 3mp shots from the k800i.
I'm sending mine back today. There's only so much a firmware upgrade can fix... |

Correction - what I should have said was indoor autoflash shots are poor... I have to admit, outdoor shots aren't that bad. |

I just got my k850i yesterday and i'm lovin' it!
i immediately got used to keypad(unbelievable? believe it) when trying out at the shop.
It's not that hard to use as i thought it would be.
Camera is... Pretty alright.
But when you really zoom the picture alot, the picture will turn out really horrible!
However, when i post it at my blog, it turns out quite alright. (:
My flash and basically everything is in place.
Only thing i hate is that i have to clean my phone every moment to get rid of the grease and fingerprints of my phone.
A little laggy but still, it's alright. (:
