Personaly I'd go just for peirceing, get a few bars in your tongue. You'll get 2 in ok maybe 3, but the tongue is very painful for anything like that, it was the most painful peircing I've had so far.
Then if you have your tongue split, you'll have to consider future job prospects. Would an employer take on someone with a snake tongue? It is somewhat perminant, unlike some tattoo's.
I have 1 bar in my tongue, 1 5x15mm id PA down below and 3 bcr's in my ear.

I have 65 piercings and 9 Tattoo's and the tongue was the least of my problem's, it can be reversed, this isnt something i looked at n thought yeh i want that i have spent alot of time reading about it and i could do it my self from what i have read, it takes a month to heal fully, thats all no speach affected, the only places that do it are big city body modifacation places and i dont live in a city and was wondereing if anyone new where does it,

DIY? Gulp!!! I know pain is an extension of plesure, but thats gonna really HURT. If you are like me and get the idea of a peirceing etc, curiosity is going to get the better of you and you'll have this done and it'll be worth it.
I don't know anyone who's had this done, so good luck with it, and stock the frezer up with ice pops! Oh, post some photo's too.

i know a bloke who has it done, it looks good. Im not sure how he did it though, he does work in a tattoo and piercing shop, so i would imagine he did it himself. Ill find out for you and let you know  |

Thats the only job a snake tongued guy could get. Honestly McDonalds won't even hire you except for maybe some unloader guy out the back so if u want a more interestin job maybe it would be better not to disfigure yourself.

My work have already said i can have it done and to be honest if they gonna discriminate me well they can seriuosly go F%^k themselves and i will take my trade somewere else. If a girl can kiss me with 65 piercings scattered round my body pretty sure a split tongue wont bother her.
