Am I the only one who thinks it could be cool with a Multimedia Viewer that would let you use your TV for Java games? Suddenly your phone would act as a gamepad, the game would be displayed on the TV. Playing video-games with oldskool resolution just like in the good old days.  |

I think that depends on the java applet too. If it's developed for small resoltion, it might look pixely on TV

Not applet. Midlet. They are called MIDlets.
Compared to older video games, which used 320x240 resolutions, they won't look so pixelated again, since phones are 176x220 and 240x320 resolution.
They can be placed in the middle of the TV-screen. It'll work out fine.
Though the pixel-look would only be part of the charm.  |
