W910i appaling loudspeaker |

i think the loudspeaker on this phone is APPALING.
ridiculously bad.
i know its a thin phone, but it isnt THAT thin, compared to say the iphone or W880i or T650. in fact, the T650i is the same thickness.
why does a walkman phone have such a bad speaker?
to put it into perspective how bad it is, im selling the phone because of it.
i really think SE have lost the plot, and are going downhill BIGTIME.
not neccesarily in design, but in quality. most of their latest phones look very nice design wise, but (with the exception of T650), they are all TERRIBLY made, with very bad build quality.
all the SE phones 2 years ago were solid (k750, k800, k810, w810 etc etc).

i can agree if some are disapointed on the speaker....but please, we know that you hate Sonyericsson.......

its mean that you maybe should look after a Nokia forum !!!! (there you at least get some positive response)

forrgive me if i'm mistaken but didnt u refer to some1 as ur 'paki' friend??
and selling my phone cos im dissapointed with the speaker, u make it sound like thats a stupid reason to sell a phone. well i use loudspeaker all the time so its more then enough reason to sell it if it is rubbish, which it is.
i may be wrong, but isnt the main thing for a mobile phone to make and receive calls?? so if the speaker is crap, its gonna affect the usability quite a lot?? think b4 u speak. |

i do, b'cos ive seen endless posts ppl saying how bad the loud speaker is. and yes build quality on all new SE phones is rubbish compared to wot it used to be.
all the new se phones that have come out recently feel plasticy, cheap etc etc (w580, s500, k850 etc etc)
compared to phones like k750, k800 k810 which were solid and felt well made. |

That I don't get is..
I mean I'm not get a phone because how loud speakers the phone has. most important it's loud enough you don't miss a call. Who goes around and play music at street?? Use headphone then you enjoy the real sound quality.
W910 has excellent build quality if u compare to other phones..

i didnt say NOTHING bout the loudness. but for the record, the loud speaker should be called a QUIET speaker, thats how quiet it is.
but as i said, i wasnt talking bout the loudness at all. i was talkin bout the QUALITY of the loudspeaker, not the decibels. |

First of all, "paki" isn't a racist term. It's just short for pakistani. It's like I called someone "my British friend" or "Bulgarian friend". I still don't get what the big deal is.
Second, according to the morality I've been raised with, selling stuff
(especially things like mobile phones) due to small inconveniences is irresponsible and a sign of spoilt. Where I live, if you buy something expensive (expensive-for a reason) and find a small flaw in it, you just live with it untill it's time for an upgrade.
I mean, why waste your money because of such a (small) problem when you can invest it in something useful. You've got a perfectly good handset there, in your hands! (I am partially referring to the classical meaning of the term "perfectly good") |

The sound quality from speaker is still good. . maybe not that clear as K800, but still loud enough.. and not like the old K750, that's sounds like speakers is cracking when you have the max..
And W910 is has super build quality
And I use Mp3 as ring tones.

More like what's wrong with you he thinks the speaker is poor he paid for his device and is not happy with it's quality for what possible reason should he keep it? other than of course it's one less SE sale. As for this comment

Well any manufacturer loves people like you, where i come from and in most of the world if you buy something that has a small flaw that you paid for you take it back. Why would anyone want to put up with it and an inadequate speaker is more than a small flaw.

This is a brand new Walkman phone and you are still saying it's good but not as clear as the K800 and 18 month old Cybershot and for you that's a good thing How?

Anyone that says anything about a fault with their SE phone that they bought and paid for is automatically a Nokia fan and hates SE. They should just put up with what ever, as to you it is always just a little flaw or problem can you not see how ridiculous your attitudes are. You only buy SE and wouldn't dream of buying anything else so will put up with whatever is wrong and justify it to your selves somehow as being OK and that is truly amazeing.

I've never said he was a NOKIA fan.
And he wasn't talking about turning it back. He was talking about selling it. That's different.
I mean, why bother? Cuz the speaker is a bit quieter? Seems a bit out of reason to me.
And also, Dogmann, I hate the way you make hasty conclusions. Do try being a bit more polite.

Apologies you didn't say he was a Nokia fan, but if his not happy with it for what ever reason it's his decision and there really is no difference between taking it back or selling as both result with him no longer having it that's really just splitting hairs. Especially as i don't know if he can take it back from where he bought it.
As for me being more polite maybe you should practice what you preach instead suggesting there is something wrong with people who complain in bold letters as that's not very polite now is it?
