Universal word for Toilet in Europa? |

I am doing some research for a project and would like some feedback from all you Euros. Not counting toilet, what is the most common and universal word for a public toilet in Europe? Is WC still widely used?

WC is what we use in flanders.
Toilet is also used, but much less.
i think their will be a difirence between the country's of germania/scandinavia and the southern country's
