So it's basically W880's competitor. (although it lacks 3G and the cool Walkman style ).
But seriously, even W890 is on the way and this thing doesn't come close to it.

Well in the case you should look at it's big brother the 5610 that has both as you put a cool slide and 3G the below link has pictures

First of all I said style, not slide.
What you showed in those links is supposed to be W580's competitor (although W580 looks better and has cool light effects... and most importantly, is a WALKMAN.. but has no 3G)
Also, it doesn't stand a chance against W910.

w880i has no fm radio
keys are hard to press
normal 65k screen
and the camera is not better
also no buttons on side of screen to change track
and no 3.5mm headphone jack
w580i made of cheap plastic
rubbish build quality
keys known to crack
no 3.2 mp camera
and no ipod scroll key
sony were doing good...going downhill now imo

Who listens to the stupid radio anyways when you have an MP3 player????????
I have radio on my K810 but I never listen to it. I just tried it 2 times.

Indeed... I had radio on all my previous walkman phones but i only used that a very few times. Dont know why they removed radio but its nothing that i really missed. W880 got a very good 262k screen, the only bad point is the size... it should be a little bigger. The keypad maybe a little wierd at the beggining but now i love it. Built quality,size and style are excellent... maybe one of the best SE phones ever in this subject. Camara: ok not too good, even w800 got a better camara. Im ancious for w890 announcement  |

Of course there is.
But why'd I want to listen to radio when I have all the songs I'd like to listen to in my phone?
And then there's the matter of interrupting commercials, some lame songs here and there.
I just wouldn't waste my time listening to radio. I'd rather use the music player or play a game. |

Sorry i made a mistake about Slide instead of Style, you may not use the Radio which is fine no one is going to force you to, but it is an extra feature that by looking at many posts' here on the Forum some seem to want as they complain when it is missing. Also Radio is about more than just Music such as live game commentary's and if it interests you News.
Same as if you don't like the look of the 5610 or it's buttons you don't have to buy it either, but if it you want to compare something to the W960 try the N81 as that also has a 8GB hard drive and unlike the 5610 is also a premium device.

imho 5610 looks cool  and it's got 3.2Mp camera module with autofocus found on 6500 slide and E90.
seems like N81 and W960 have very big differences although they cater to the same market which is music.
