So i get a txt of a friend i havent seen in a while yesterday do i wanna meet for a beer, all cool biked into town locked my bike at the library and of i went to my local 5 mins away came back 3 hours later and my bike has gone, F%^k's sake im thinking i wal kup and there is my big chain that goes through both wheels and my frame and my seast post, its on the floor with a hammer so i take of one of my t-shirts and picks them up and goes o the police station and explain and there like oh well theres not alot we can do really, so i have the hammer that smashed my lock and it was on camera turns out they not bothered about my bike the only way i get to work and the camera isnt reall,

This year is a joke for me really is can it get worse.

Sorry to hear man, a weird thing happened at my mums the other day. Someone stole my little brothers bike, they hack sawed through the lock stole the bike and then left a better bike behind

The buggers steal them to order now, don't they? They probably left the better bike because your little brother's was closer to the 'order' even though it technically wasn't as good.

I was locking my bike up once when a couple of chavvy looking youths came up and asked me if I had microchipped it. 'Yes, of course' I said to which they looked thoughtfully at each other for a couple of seconds, shook their heads and walked off!

there is never any real way of stopping it getting stolen, as cyco has said if someone wants it, they will get it, however...
