I have tried it, but it won't work. Have also tried it with the T39 but no luck there either. If you are looking for syncing your calendar, the second best option is to send a month at a time via BT. And when it comes to contact choose send all under Business Cards.
BT passkeys functions as an identifier for a specific bluetooth device. You may choose a passkey randomly, remember to use different passkeys on your units. |

I tried with a T39. The devices paired instantly, but no success in transferring contacts, calendar items, or anything else. I was able to see the T39 in the paired devices list, but when I tried to send a contact, I was getting a message like 'search failed, retry?' |

I've sent information between 2 phones via Bluetooth quite a few times.
I haven't tryed to pair 2 phones togeather tough. I've for example sent all the contacts from my old T39 to my new T68 via Bluetooth. You must set the recieving phone to Discoverable and then you go to Phonebook>Business cards and select Send all, and via Bluetooth. All in all, sending my 250 name phonebook took 2 minutes total. Pretty cool!
Same goes when sending calendar notes and melodies and the other stuff, set the receiving phone to discoverable.
Are you supposed to sync 2 phones using just the phones? Shouldn't you need to use a PC as a hub for syncronization? |

I didit, It's easy. You have to connect reception bluetooth in one of the T68 and send what you want from the other |

To Merkur:
Yes, BT was on in both phones. But, I used the same passkey for both phones. Maybe, that's the problem |

From what I remember in the office a week ago, I think we just typed in whatever passkey we wanted.
0000 will do as will BENSACUNT |

The passkey is anyhing up to 16 digits according to the manual. I am not sure if they need to be different or not |

I think the default passkey is always 0000
I have an Orange T68i and a Sony "direct" HBH-30 and both have 0000 as the factory default.

as far as i know sync is only from handset to computer. i have no idea how to sync within 2 handset.
and do u know sync need an extra software even to computer. i guess this is why u can sync.
but u can rather send the contact to other handset using BT.
