Hi everybody, I have a question, I made a bid on a t68i on ebay, when the store was about to send me the phone they said it was sim unlocked but that the wap browser was locked to Cingular? What is browser locked?, does it exist?, if it does, I just got a flash cable for the t68i, could the browser then be unlocked or will it be unlocked when I flash it to another firmware?
Thanks in advance,

Jose Angel R

It might b that is has one profile enabled(cingular) but u can create another 5!so u just make urself another.if it's locked and they know what r they talking about, then unlocking the phone should do it..an upgrade too!i am sure it's gonna work somehow.

Possibly your connection settings and WAP profile are locked (factory lockable - see T68i White paper).

You can set new profiles etc., but any reset will remove your new settings but the factory set ones will reappear.

A reset/upgrade at a point might unlock it.

The problem is I am in Mexico and the Service points here are not upgrading the phones to new firmware, I don't think there's even a SE Service point near.
I have the flash cable, do you think it might be possible buying logs and upgrading it (or unlocking it for that matter) by myself.
