I dont think anyone's mentioned this yet....
Noticed it today... I have 3 specks of dust under the glass cover of the camera lens of my K850i.
It doesnt show up when you take pics but it's only a matter of time before I get more dust.....

return it
"I have 3 specks of dust under the glass cover of the camera lens of my K850i."
seems like the glass cover is got a gap somewhere and isnt firmly in..
and/if you want you can use the air compression cans for pcs to try and blow out the air..if you spot that tiny little gap
thanks >500

ok get this,
my friend who i mentioned above phoned sony ericsson support and they said to change the phone for another one from where he purchased it. so yesterday he went to the cpw and they said theyll change it this time but if the same issue happens again with the new phone they wont change it a second time. so when they gave him the new phone he checked in store and it was perfect with no dust specs. he has just phoned me this morning to say hes picked the phone up this morning and there is a dust spec on the inside of the glass cover. where it has come from god only knows.
i have just checked mine now and yes there is a dust spec on the inside of the glass cover that wasnt there before and i have no idea how or when it got there.
with regards to my friends situation is cpw under obligation to change it for a second time or not because my friend says the sales person was adamant that they wouldnt change it again?
i think there is definitely a problem here with this phone. |

This is not good for SE's Flagship CyberShot, nearly every time ive logged on to Esato this week ive read lots of problems with K850, its starting to remind me of when the K800 came out and everytime i logged in here there was a topic or post about someones K800 dying.
Anyway hopefully SE sort this dust thing out, was it realy necessary to have a glass/plastic unremovable back with the camera behind it? SE should have kept the same kind of camera back as K810 IMO.
