Problem with holiday booking |

I was supposed to be going skiing in January. I paid it all off and was waiting for my friend to do the same as it is due 28th of this month. She has had a swollen foot for ages but she went ahead and said she would come. Anyway she has an MRI booked for the end of November and says if they find out what is wrong then she won't be able to go. I don't know what to do know as I've paid it and i can't find anybody else to go, will we be able to change it to a different holiday or have i just lost nearly £500? Totally gutted, can't believe this has happened.

you need to contact the people you organised it through, if they are abta operated you should be able to cancel without much of a penalty...

Don't really want to cancel would rather change to a different holiday if possible, she thinks we can do that. She did offer to pay any penalty which is good because i'm not paying anything else. Only thing is there is only so many other places i'd want to go in January, proper gutted was looking forward to skiing.

The height of fun and you can i quote "wash them" what the hell this girl has lost her marbles.
Don't see how where going to be able to swap but hey ho, not my problem and she is paying any penalties on my behalf. Long as i get a holiday i'm good.

OMG! What a day, where going to Gambia now for 2 weeks for the same price skiing was for a week. Quality hehehehehe.

At least it turned out ok in the end. There is always the year after for skiing.
