I dont have any answers for you, but I want to know the answer to all of your questions, I wasn't planning on getting a p800, but some things have changed now I plan too... I really want one, probably be $400 or less with contract...

My guess is that there are many from the US who frequent this forum. Lots of techies here and Ericsson is usually on the edge. Not much about the P800 on GSM here in the US. I'm still trying to convince Cingular that this R380W works on their 1900 network.

I doubt that any GSM carrier in the US will carry such a high-tech expensive phone/pda such as the P800. Best bet will probably be to get it from eBay (beware of scams) or Expansys.

10 bucks says I'm the only person in Laurel, MS with a T68i. Just thought I'd through it in the US location post here.

I can try to ask someone I know that may be able to get it. But it won't be cheap. She hooked me up with the Panasonic GD87, which in some ways is better than the T68i and in some ways not. EIther way, I cannot be without one or the other.

thanks for everyones help, i'd like to get one from ebay but would i be able to get a contract and use any of the p800 functions without having a 200 dollar phone bill each month?
the title of this post was probably misleading but i have been watching the "General" forum mostly and everyone seems to be from europe.

right now my hope is mid january to be able to buy this thing, if it takes any longer i'm going to get really pisssed and spend my money on something else
