O2 simplicity deals really are the cheapest and best value for money, in terms of texts and minutes, you cannot go wrong with the £20 a month tariff you have chosen. And best of all you can cancel with 30 days notice whenever you want to. |

On the £25 Simplicity tariff you get 600 mins and 1000 texts as standard, plus choose unlimited texts to any UK network or unlimited calls to O2 numbers. You can have the Long Weekends too, if you request it.

Orange have now something similar. Here's their sim-only tariffs:

Thats pretty good then...
ive got 1000 off peak mins to any network but I want a cheaper tariff £25 is too much i'd much rather have a Sim only deal as it's cheaper..
will be chatting to 02 retentions next month see what they can do,
I would love a Simplicity plan on a 18 month tariff at £15 if poss
or better still let me keep my existing tariff and pay £15 and add 200MB Data £22.50 per month

Q: When you decide you want this Simplicity deal does it mean your actually cancelling your contract with 02?!
I mean 5mths down the line your on this and 02 bring out something like:
"500 Anytime Any Network with 1000 Texts for £20 including 200MB Data"
Am I classed as being a newbie customer again for going for this deal or will I have to pay for a Upgrade phone?

I got an upgrade through retentions to match a simplicity tariff on an 18 month contract (essentially a £25/month contract with £10 off per month for 18 months and a free K850) - I think it's 200 mins, 400 texts and free o2 calls. Only difference is I'm now tied into a contract, but it's reasonable to no probs!

I'm going to try and go for unlimited data and alot of txts, calls don't bother me at all really, never use them. Only been with them a year though so it'll be unlikely lol.

I wouldn't say no to that what did you say to them?
Greggy, so if someone like myself already on a contract with 02 and decides to go on the simplicity thing, if I cancel whenever and see something else on 02 they will give me a free phone with that deal?
I wont have to pay a upgrade fee will I?
Im starting to use abit more of my mins atm but it's a right pain waiting for 7pm to come along every night lmao..
ive gotta use my 02 treat very wisely
