It's obvious that Nokia considers itself the Giant of mobile phone business and deservedly so! Now when another big name player comes from a completely different field and steals the limelight of their N95's and Prisms..surely any company would take that with a pinch of salt.

But it's good to see that Nokia isn't just sitting flat and thinking 'Oh we are untouchables'. Ovi is a great example that they aim to outdo Apple's every move.

Still knowing Apple i'm sure they won't be happy with no. 2 in anything they compete in specially after toppling off Sony in the mp3 business.

This is just the beginning IMO and in the end i'm sure its the consumers who'll reap the biggest benefit from this growing competition.

There has been discussion on the web that Apple would not offer the iPhone in France due to the French laws allowing unlocking of operator-locked phones and even requiring the operators to provide unlocking services to customers requesting this! (Source.)

With this in mind I doubt that the iPhone would ever be available officially here in the Middle East as the concept of phones on contract and operator-locked phones does not exist here. All phones sold here are unlocked at full price.

It is preety obvious here that nokia is upping the game to the limits of the sky. What apple needs is a genius behind their magic. Even though they would stil struggle to catch up with the mobile GIANT. Who knows what is after the 8gb n95. Apple still have a lot to do with their BABY phone.

Americans always stongly care about the version right or copy right, it's not surprise that locked phone only appear in USA, even other un-brand cells are not locked.

how did Nokia feel when they heard about P Series then?

Nokia shouldn't go about doing that btw Apple are just a Pc Name in my eyes, Nokia are always bringing out the latest phones with go idea's as well as Samsung and he rest of them.

I was abit surprised at how Samsung brought out the first 10MP Camera phone though and still waited for Nokia to come out with the N95.

Samsung could've stole Nokias limelight but they didn't
