I hate PAYPAL (what should I do) |

I hate paypal with my heart. I run online websites and use paypal for people to send me funds when they buy mobiles.
I've recently been selling iPhones. People pay me, I send it over to my friend in the US, he buys the iPhones and sends them over.
Now they've gone and froze his account saying he's under investigation and I don't know what to do! I tried calling, nobody is 'at liberty to discuss the matter'. I emailed, no reply.
They're messing up my reputation and my poor friend has his money frozen.
What can I do??

now the guy who I send money to is saying that if this isn't resolved, he's keeping the iPhones. What the hell is this?! Why is everyone a backstabber!

I presume that your friend has your money frozen in his account. Have you considered Google checkout?

yes I've already moved to Google Checkout.
I hate damn paypal. First they take around 12 pounds per transaction, THEN they lock the money.
Spent 80 pounds on hold with them! (I'm on Doha now so calling international)

As i intimated elsewhere Amnesia, i once had the proceeds of a very expensive digital SLR put on hold by PP once, i had to wait 6 months to get my cash, like all "merchant" accounts, they play by their own rules, which they make up as they go along.

it's just not fair.
After calling them to help my friend, they said 'don't worry'
A few hours later they blocked MY account!
They're acting like thugs!

I only did three iphones through paypal, of course I sell other phones too (as people know here on the forums).
The funny thing is, they've asked for proof of postage, and I'm emailing whoever I can to get the tracking numbers...

Paypal like to cover there back a little too much and are too quick to freeze peoples account. Which is a little out of order.
They will hold your money for six months if you cannot provide extremely detailed information and even then, its up to paypal if they accept your details and release your money.
I don't understand how they have stayed online for this long without the public trying to bring them down.
Sorry amnesia, but all the best of luck. But yes in future try to use google checkout. Its alot better and ive had success with it in the past.
