I am trying to connect to a wifi network that uses WPA encryption. The P990i asks for a username and password but the network I am connecting to only has a password. How do I get round this?

propably you need to select wpa-psk in your phone which uses passphrase (if you use wpa personal in you wireless router which uses passphrase)

i will use this post since its problem with connecting my p990i with router

well i have linksys wrt54g (v6) i have troubles connecting my phone with it, even when i don't use encryption, i have selected to use b and g (since i don't know if p990i is b or g) but then i tried b and g seperately so it looks this is not a problem. i have also automatic dhcp, i have disabled mac filter also, well everything should go... anyone has any clue?
