Low sound in left ear in HPM75 |

Hello, i have an W610i and i got the headset HPM75 with it. But after a while the left ear plug started to sound lower(lower volume). So i went to the Store were i bought the phone and got a new pair, but after a while i got exactly the same problem again with the new headset.
I went to the store again and told i was the same problem with the new ones, and they started to be sceptical if it was my fault or not. But they sended them for service anyway. And i can say i have not been handling them especially rough.
So i wonder is this a uasual problem on this headset or im i just unlucky? Any idea of what could have caused this twice?

You know, I've always thought one earphone was quieter than the other with my HPM-70 earphones. Having used them with my K750, then K800 & most recently with my K810.
I thought it was just the phones 7 I'd never heard anyone else mention it so I thought it was probably just me.
In any case, just to hear anything at all nowadays would be great, what with the K800 & K810 earphone volume being so quiet... |

maybe the fast port socket is the culprit. if it's loose it sometimes tend to lower volume

I have the same problems with my HBH-DS980.
For a while it went really low, and I could not use it.
Then the sound started to come back and now it is OK, but still lower then the right ear.
I am using my HBH-DS980 with a k610i and a N95 (works great with the N95 except there are no tags)

I don't think it's that cause i've tried with an other couple of ear plugs to the adapter and it sounds fine with equal sound.
Anyone else have any ideas? |

i had about 4 pairs doing this!!! and nobody on esato could help...AFAIK it turned out that i was cramming them too far in my ears, causing the felt part to get squashed up...and now i tend to put them in more softly with this new pair...
if you dont want to go for another new pair and could do with keeping your quiet ones...take out the felt behind those rubber plugs....the quality will be a lil distorted but they should be loud again

Okey, that might be the problem, i do push them in a bit but i'm not thinking i'm doing it SO hard but yes a little. Did you push them hard in? But it could be worth thinking of if a got a new ones again. Maybe should use the smallest rubber plugs of them that comes in different sizes.

Is there any difference between HPM-70 and HPM-75 soundquality wise or volume wise? |

love the silver ring around the connector, and the detailings on the buds looks great. but seriously, there must be something separating them from HPM70 that justifies the change in index number? eldar from M-R did mention a slight change in quality in his review of the w880. maybe try them out for a bit, then you can let us know, mate.
well, with my hpm-70 i face that. i think this is normal.
