Not sure if anyone else gets this but if im awaiting a pm on the forum ill keep the window minimized and just refresh the screen but the problem is I have to keep entering my user name and password EVEN IF I check the box to save it every time im on here. Its getting a bit fustrating having to constantly log in over and over again within the space of not only 1 minute.

Anyone else had this?

I don't have this at home, though at work it happens all the time (though I don't check the 'keep me logged in' button). It's probably something to do with firewall settings, your settings could be set to too high a security level.

Well Bav, the Log in system on here IS a little strange, when i load up Esato in the AM it shows me how many posts have been made since i last visited (so it's aware it's me) BUT i STILL have to manually log in to view pics or deal with PM,s ?.

Esato uses a cookie to identify the time and date of your last visit even if you weren't logged in. Mweb's computer seems to be allowing this cookie to be stored but is deleting or disallowing the cookie relating to keeping him logged in.

For all problems of this nature, make sure that your computers time and date is set correctly (including the time zone) and that your browser and security software is set to allow cookies from esato.com

Sometimes you log in from the forum home page and when you try to access you inbox pms, you find that you are being asked to log in again. At times you find that your details have been pre entered from the previous log in and you have to do is just to click the login icon.

Hi all,

This happens from time to time for no logical reason i can be logged in and then when i go to reply to a post it suddenly wants my user name and password. But i just accept that it as one of life's little annoyances and whilst annoying it is hardly that much hassle to re enter my details.

Marc

I agree with you on that point because that is what I have noted. One more thing that I have noted is that when you are browsing from mobile.esato.com and you log in from the pm page, you wil have to do it again if you come to the main forum pageto do your posting. Correct me if Iam wrong.
