if you flash the FS you will get all your data lost. in the FS is where your data is stored. if you flash the MAIN, not.

that's why you have to backup your data before flashing

Hi can someone please tell me what steps to take to change my cda to western-europe, its central europe at the moment as you can see below.
I have generated the cda file I just don't know what to do with it

Hi
I am having issues with trying to connect my K800i to SX++ Tool, please see error message below:

(if you need more details dont hesitate to ask
I am trying to update the camera driver and debrand the phone, but for some reason the phone will not connect to the software, I am following the instructions to the letter.
I really need some help now??????

your phone is CID52 and you're trying to flash the MAIN with a CID53 one. get a CID52 one

well, if you make a mistake you can "disable" your phone. but most part of the time it is repairable

I want to unlock a SE W580i with firmware R8BE001. I'm locked to ATT/Cingular. I'm trying to be sure I understand what I'm doing before I get into too much trouble!
(1) If I take an R8BE001 .mbn file from the net. Drop it into SIMLockPatchGen.exe, and create a Remove_SIM_lock_W580_R8BE001.vkp. Can I then simply apply this patch to my phone??
- or -
(2) Must I first flash this downloaded .mbn file to my phone AND THEN apply the patch?
From the tutorials, I'm not clear if I can do the least disruptive action (option (1) only apply the patch).
(3) A related question... Is the .mbn file (R8BE001) already in the phone IDENTICAL to the one that I downloaded or is the one in the phone customized for my ATT phone?
