Hi, I want to flash my k800i to R8BF003 so i can use some of the patches which aren't avalible to r1k001. Heres some more information about my phone.

I was wondering, if i could only flash the main and not the FS. Would this work or brick the phone. |

yes, you can flash the MAIN only.

wow thank you for your fast reply. If i flash the main, is there anything else i would need to do such as the finalizing or would i be able to use the phone straight after. Also i cant find an APAC version so if i flash with K800_R8BF003_MAIN_GENERIC_WI_RED52.mbn what would happen. I live in Australia by the way.

no, mate. you dont need to finalize the phone as you wont touch the FS(where you finalize the phone).

Thanx bro....I know about that, I just doesn't know how to upload multiple files like acoustic driver at once. How to do that with XS++v3.1 ?
Do I need to upload the acoustic driver one by one? (I hope not, its boring and more chance to miss one files....  )
One more....how to drag and drop multiple files? where I have to drop the multiple file from my PC to XS++ v3.1 ? step by step please

@pram: just select the files you want to upload, drag them and then drop them in the right side panel. it will take a while so dont be waiting it in a minute

I already do that, but, when I select some file and drag the file to XS++ v3.1 (Right panel offcourse, suddenly appear circle with cross symbol on the center.
then....when I release it, it doesn't drop at all(can not drop to XS++ v3.1 Right panel, doesn't know how... ).

Sorry if i sound a noob but where can i find the Main firmware and this FS thing

Hi, I hope that you'll able to assist me with finishing the flash update of my K610i.
First of all, I'm from Denmark and the phone was from the service provider 3, which (like most of the other providers selling phones these days) had clogged it with all kinds of software I didn't need.
I connected the K610i to XS++ v3.1 and said yes to updating the CID from 49 to 52.
I then successfully managed to flash the phone with the 'K610_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_TH_RED52' and the 'K610_R1KG001_FS_EUROPE_2_RED52.fbn' files from http://www.iprotebe.cz and the phone works fine as it is.
The thing is that, right now I have the choice between the languages in the region EUROPE2 and I'd really like to (especially when messaging) have the ability to write in Danish.
After searching around on Google and 4shared, I've not been able to find a FS with the right CID version, for EUROPE4 which would be the right region.
Is it anyhow possible to create your own package? Or does anyone of you know where I might be able to find the right one?

EDIT: Managed to solve the problem with a HUTCH1 FS. So all there is left to say is thanks for the guide!

where do we download from finalization files. I flashed K800 and i can not finalize it. |
