Just phoning Mts will probably not help, they don't release that kind of information in any case. You probably need to report it to the police to make Mts release info on which number it is, and even then you might not get to know it, just the police. |

networks ensure you cannot access hidden numbers. If you could, they could be sued for breach of privacy. If someone elects to keep their number hidden, that is their right in law. It's also your right to ignore the call.
I refuse to answer withheld numbers on principle. If they aren't prepared to tell me who they are, it means they a) want to harass me (telemarketers, canvassers, sellers) or b) they want to harass me (people I owe money to)! They can wait, I pay all my bills eventually, in my own time, whether they harass me or not. So if they want to talk to me reveal their number and I will answer evertime. Unless they are marketers and I recognise their number. then I'll still ignore them!

People calling using with-held numbers...GRRRR!!
I always either let the call ring out, reject call, or divert to answer phone. if it is urgent they'll aways ring back/leave a message. So far in all my time doing this no with-held number ever has. Proof i think you'll find that 99% of hidden callers are nothing more than neusance calls. |
