Still poor consumer interest for Mobile-TV |

Here in Nigeria, a company announced that it had setup DVB-H service in partnership with MTN and was offering mobile TV service through that network. According to them, they are providing the service free for a period of 6 months before they implement billing.
However, I have not met (or heard of) one person who uses a DVB-H handset, muchless subscribed to the service. I have a spare MTN SIM, but not even my E61i is DVB-H compatible. Shame. The screen is large and crisp and is very good for watching video. Plus, with the sorry state of power supply here, mobile TV would be good for catching up on news - if nothing else.

in austria 3 offers tv in hd quality in some mobile fones like n95, e61i, n73 etc its amazing to watch tv in that way

All those mobiles bob have good display and larges screens. So I think that is why it is amazing and enjoyable to watch with them.

actually they offer it for 6288 too, but i didnt see hd tv on that yet

That is cool, but we cant be sure of that is it fantastic to watch from that device. Its either its display is superb or it has advanced media configurations. Which is is which?
