 | Hi guys.
Last night, the Nokia rep told me something that he later told me he shouldn't have said (but he's leaving, he doesn't mind lol).

He said there WILL be a new Nokia 8800 (a replacement for the Sirocco), no name as yet but it will have:

-3MP camera (most likely auto focus with flash)
 -1GB internal memory
 -Vastly improved battery
 -better screen obviously
-it will look similar to the Sirocco and the 8800 before it, an evolution much like 8800 --> Sirocco was.

 Expected some time next year.

 | thanks
Either way, it's going to happen, and he seemed a bit edgy about telling me the spec, but at least we have a semi-official word. he'd seen it in the flesh at least, just couldn't tell me much about it.

 | The 8600 just shat up the design of the 8800 series really.
8800 was a timeless design really and now this "8900" is a hybrid between the 8600 and LG Choco

 | I believe what the rumours says about Nokia releasing e.g 8900 with the design of 8800 and features like good camera, either big internal memory or it supports external memory.
The only issue that I worry about are the keys. neither of 8800, 8850, 8910, 8810 or 8890 had responsive keys.
