Thought it was about time for something to be released.

Nice one I'm sure many will find this very helpful the only thing that remains to be seen now is if all these things continue to work with the soon to be realeased firmware 1.11. Which I'm sure is going to b realeased in the US soon and definitely before they are realeased in the UK.

Sure will be interesting! If it doesn't work I am sure it will be a matter of days (now that the iPhone's "ins and outs" are pretty much well known) before a new hack is released!

I agree i really can't see how anyone can believe that suddenly they will be able to disable all of the hacks and customisations as basically what they do is write new instructions to the base band.
I really do wonder just how many of the sold iPhones will actually be used on the 02 network with one of their iPhone tariffs.

The funny thing is I've had 64 emails today!
I thought the tutorial was straight forward if you follow it directly.
The video has a link which contains ALL the files you need.
iTunes 7.3, iBrickr, and Lockdownd. (it also comes with some bonus apps)
People have said iBrickr can work with some versions of 7.4 but I haven't tested it and this way is the reliable way.
There are MANY methods. My method is just the easiest way.
This tutorial is also for PC.
iFuntastic is the Mac version of iBrickr.
Hope I've answered it all

so far so good, but now when I run AppTapp Installer, and run activation it says error entering recovery mode.

why did you install AppTapp?
I'm not sure if you need that with Mac.

I thought with the mac... you use iFuntastic... then move anysim over to the iphone after jailbreaking with iFuntastic?
