I was tryin the chat feature - yet the thing that annoyed me is that i do not receive the delivery report of the messages i send - is that normal?

Also it won't save any of the messages sent/received during chat |

Chat is supposed to be shorthand SMS, no saving of text to reduce clutter being saved in your phone's memory and no delivery reports which are normally flashed on screen and saved with your sent SMS text messages.
If you want to save text and want delivery reports then don't use the shorthand SMS (Chat)!
