I opened up my K800i today and when I put it back together and try to make a call, I can't hear anything. The speaker is in there and everything, but I can't hear anything, maybe I connected it wrong?

You mean the ear speaker? If so, it's probably that it's connection prongs have become either bent or flattened down, try taking the phone apart and checking these connectors and carefully bending them back into position, this should solve your problem

I'm not really sure what the speaker is supposed to look like, so I took pictures of its current state.

You didn't connect your speaker to the mainboard correctly in order for it to work... Try reconnection it again, but this time make sure the contacts with the maiboard are attached good. Then it will be fine if it is not broken (I hope it's not, as it does not need something special technique to be removed from the mainboard that can damage it).

Hope this advice helps a little
