I have recently bought this phone, and was told, that it would work with my Headset - but I can't make the phone "find" my headset when searching for it - and this is frustrating! I do not know what to do, and have written to SE and Nokia, but none of them are even writing back to me... Is there someone out there who can help me? Best regards Patrick Jakobsen

rockygali Joined: Nov 21, 2005 Posts: > 500 From: PM, WWW	Posted: 2007-09-18 04:53 hi Peter! welcome to Esato� i have also a Bluetooth stereo headset (BlueBand R) from I-tech http://www.itechdynamic.com/en/products_spec.asp?cid=3&pid=03030 but i didnt have difficulty pairing these devices... have you double checked if you HB501 is in discoverable mode?! in order for the phone to find it... if the BT headset is just simply turned on and not in discover mode... then none BT device can find it. i also have a fried who is using this headset on another branded phone and not Nokia. and i know it will work with W580 coz it has A2DP profile. hence your HB501 is on crack! "Darkness is the absence of light.. and not the opposite..."
