Ok, I have a 7 year old 3310 and now its starting to hangup sometimes. Sometimes it happens during a call or when sending a SMS and the battery needs to be removed.
I know its an old phone, but thats no reason why it should hang up.

Probably a firmware gremlin, it'll probably need a reflash.
