Hello All,
Called Orange because my W880i giving me alot of problems
I explained the fault and they took down a number @ the back of the phone NOT IMEI
Starts with 07WXX
I don't know what it means but they said its faulty
Anyone know what it means?

it's the production week.... 07 is the year, the number after W is the weeknumber...
sometimes faulty batches are discovered, then they can quite easy track down which weeks the faulty devices have been manufactured, and also the IMEI numbers of the phones... |

But they didnt ask for the IMEI

Did you call Orange from the phone in question or give them your mobile number?
Wouldnt take Orange or any other network provider long to find your IMEI number out either way. |
